Google Set to Open Pittsburgh Office12/15/05 While Google still calls Silicon Valley home, it is clear that their business requires constant expansion in order to be successful. While most of the east coat efforts of Google have been tied to the Adwords and AdSense programs for their New York based offices -- a move to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is now in the cards.
According to Associated Press report, Google Inc. is slated to open an engineering and research office in Pittsburgh in 2006. According to Craig Nevill-Manning, director of Google's New York engineering office, Google could create up to 100 new tech job opportunities in the area.
