Google Releases Beta Version of Google Print11/03/05 Google has officially released a BETA version of their controversial Google Print tool. Today, Google Inc. announced the availability of the first large collection of public domain books on Google Print.
The Google Print collection has been acquired through scans as part of the company's book digitization project with libraries from around the world. Such works as U.S. Civil War history books, government documents, the writings of Henry James and other materials can all be found in this BETA version of Google Print.
