Microsoft and Yahoo Team Up Against Google10/27/05 Reuters reports coming out of San Francisco Wednesday seem to indicate that Microsoft and Yahoo have joined forces to raise support in an effort to digitize many of the world`s greatest book titles.
These efforts would be concentrated on the digital re-creation of older, out of print titles. The grouping of these two forces, the Open Content Alliance (OCA) -- is creating a story for themselves even with Google facing tremendous heat on the same subject. Just two weeks ago, Google Google Inc. and the publishing industry began arguing over Google's ambitious plan to create a digital library.
